Hardywood Park Craft Brewery in Richmond is bringing back its Brewer & Artist Series for 2022. Their first release is a collaboration of beer and art with Hardywood Brewer, Jeff Metz and artist, Patrick Yagow. Sippin on a Dock of the Bay will be released Friday, June 3 at both Hardywood locations. A portion of proceeds from Sippin on a Dock of the Bay will be donated to Waterkeepers Chesapeake.
Sippin on a Dock of the Bay is a dry-hopped summer ale brewed with fresh lemongrass and lime peel. It’s crisp and easy-drinking. Metz brewed this beer with a blend of Virginia grown Pilsner, Vienna, and wheat malts from our friends at Murphy and Rude Malting in Charlottesville, VA. This beer is lightly dry hopped with Hallertau Mittelfrueh and Motueka hops to complement the bright citrus aromas.
