Sunoco Finalizing Repair Plans After Pipeline Incident
LYCOMING COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) – Crews were on the scene of a broken pipe in Wallis Run in Gamble Township Saturday. They were looking for signs of gasoline. Severe storms left a path of flooding and destruction, which is blamed for rupturing an 8-inch line beneath the water.
“There is the potential for damage to aquatic life and of course there is the potential harm to the drinking sources for the human population,” said Carol Parenzan. She’s with the Middle Susquehanna Riverkeeper Association.
