Dr. Piazza’s integrated approach to marketing, communications, and stakeholder engagement has helped organizations significantly enhance their visibility, influence, and financial sustainability. Her expertise spans multiple sectors including professional associations, higher education, publishing & media, sustainability initiatives, and professional services. Previously, she served as an Adjunct Professor at a Graduate School of Business teaching courses in Organizational Theory & Behavior, Communication Ethics, Persuasive & Informative Public Communication, Media/Mass Communication, Public Relations, Nonprofit Law & Governance, and specialized nonprofit marketing and fundraising strategies.

Dr. Piazza holds a Ph.D. in Corporate & Nonprofit Communication & Ethics from the University of Missouri–Columbia, complemented by an M.A. in Organizational Communication, Business Administration & Public Affairs and a B.A. in Communication & Political Science (Honors) from the University of Colorado–Denver.
