Elle is the South, West & Rhode Riverkeeper.

As South, West & Rhode Riverkeeper at Arundel Rivers Federation, Elle is dedicated to the protection and restoration of the South, West and Rhode Rivers. Elle is involved in policy and advocacy work, environmental education, water quality monitoring, and restoration projects. Elle was previously the Miles-Wye Riverkeeper at Shorerivers. Elle grew up on the South River in Annapolis and has a passion for being outdoors and introducing others to their local rivers. Elle received her bachelor’s degree from Washington College in environmental studies with a concentration in Chesapeake regional studies and has a Master in environmental education from Concordia University. She is a certified “Natural Leader” by the Children & Nature Network and has previously worked with the Chesapeake Bay Trust and NOAA.
